Rothschild 1 Tower Condominium is a remarkable residence in Tel Aviv – the second most populous city in Israel. The apartment was designed by Lev – Gargir Architects and was completed in 2013 within a fantastic tower that offers breathtaking panoramas of the Mediterranean Sea and of the Neve Tzedek neighborhood.
The penthouse was designed to serve as a holiday retreat for a Swiss family, which is why it boasts a warm, welcoming and bright atmosphere that is supposed to contrast with the owners’ main residence in Zurich. With 2,000 square feet of living space, this isn’t the most spacious abode in the world but it is definitely one of the most comfortable ones.
It features a carefully selected array of furnishings, appliances and fabrics that complement each other through color and texture. The kitchen is equipped with contemporary facilities and includes a decent-sized dining table for 10. The living room flaunts modern sofas, armchairs and a large coffee table, and it represents an extension of the kitchen. Both areas are flooded with natural light thanks to the numerous windows that ensure sublime views of the city and its many rooftops.
From the architect:
This apartment is in one of the best residence towers in Tel-Aviv overlooking a breathtaking panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, the picturesque rooftops of “Neve Tzedek” and old Jaffa. 2,000 sq. Ft.
Designed as a summer home for a Swiss family, the intention was to reflect a different styling than their home in Zurich.
A bright, well lit – but warm and inviting boutique vacation space was created.
Long clean lines lead from one room to the next – and onward to the view outside the curtain walls.
The interior design, furniture selection and fabric fittings were chosen to give an enveloping feeling of a familiar, cozy home setting with mix and match clusters in soft monochromatic surroundings.
