This extravagant home located in Palms Springs, California, United States was created by the icon Bob Hope and his wife in collaboration with the modernist architect John Lautner. It is located high atop the exclusive Southridge community and offers dramatic views over the Coachella Valley.

This stunning home was completed in 1980 and it was Hopes’ third dream home in Palm Springs.

This beautiful symphony mixes concrete, steel and glass, protected by a curving copper roof resembling to the sloping contours of the neighboring mountains.

It’s the largest property ever created by Lautner and is the ultimate expression of his aesthetic: “The purpose of architecture is to create timeless, free, joyous spaces for all activities of life.”

Now, it’s for sale for the amount of $50,000,000!
