Luxurious, tranquil and environmentally friendly, Casa Atrevida is a wonderful vacation home that can be booked all year round, for rates that vary between $2,100 and $3,500 per week. It is located on Preciosa Beach in Puerto Jimenez, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica.

Designed by Piedra Arquitectos, it features 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and it can host up to 10 guests at once. Bamboo dominates the design, being used both for decorative purposes and as a structural material. This is an excellent building material, being earthquake resistant and having a low impact on the environment (because this is a very fast growing plant).

The villa also features a rooftop garden that plays a double role: it helps integrate the construction into the landscape, and it contributes to the natural cooling of the interiors.
