The Village Crean Compound was created in 1990 by the philanthropists John and Donna Crean, with the purpose of designing a place that could take advantage of the wonderful views of Newport’s Back Bay.

As you step the threshold of the house, you instantly notice the dramatic double staircase that includes imported chandeliers and hand-painted murals.

This gated property includes four buildings totaling 30,600 square feet and is situated on 3.6 acres.

The 15,000 square feet main house features an amazing entrance and a deep porch that stretches the length of the residence.

Other features include a 2,500 square foot ground floor apartment, a chef’s kitchen, a movie theatre and elevator access for all three levels of the house.
