The London-based Ardesia Design created the chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland. This living place exudes warmth and coziness due to the use of wood and modern elements that create a secluded atmosphere in contrast with the outdoor woodland.

The designers have successfully combined a light color palette with smooth touches of linen and wool, in balance with the timber cladding. The living room was given a neutral and uniform look, the central piece that completes the space being the solid wood table.

The straight lines of the design were added by the joist structure partly exposed. The dark curtains are used to stop the light from entering the house when the owner wants to, and also to nicely contrast the furniture.

The bathroom is emphasized by solid timber paneling and the natural light passing through the window. The shelf details with reading lights turn the master bedroom into a perfect place for sleeping and relaxation.

The charm of the construction is completed by the surrounding nature that also adds value to the property.
