Sez Alzines is a Tourist Holiday Home for eight people, allowing access to disabled guests. It is located in Menorca Island, Spain and was completed by Javier Mantolán Seguí in 2012.

Because the plot is very narrow it was difficult to design an outdoor area facing south, to serve as a pool, that’s why the construction was arranged in a “U” form.

Solar panels were installed by enabling the entry of skylights in bathrooms and kitchen.

The first strip that is in fact the main façade of the building consists in the kitchen, the dining and living room, creating in this way a single space which is north-south orientated, and ends on a covered terrace and near a staircase that leads to the sundeck. It also opens to the heart of house, meaning the “patio”.

The second strip is north orientated, perpendicular to the first, and includes the lobby, the stairs that lead to the garage, two bathrooms and the laundry. The third strip is connected to the corridor that provides access to the bedrooms.
