Capital One’s Innovation Lab in Arlington, Virginia was designed by OTJ Architects. We guess every company wants to make its employees feel comfortable at work and to feel that they are working of pleasure and not of obligation. Capital One designed their lab in order to give their people an environment where they could enjoy working.
The use of wood mixed with glass and with the shiny floors gives one the sense of coziness. Of course, this thing has a limit, which can be easily noticed, between what it means an interior of a home and an office.
The idea of the project was to increase the efficiency of the employees.
