Serengeti House is a beautiful two-story residence completed by Johannesburg-based studio, Nico Van Der Meulen Architects.
The contemporary architecture of the building contrasts with the African wildlife and traditional scenery that surrounds it. The designers chose the well-known trend of juxtaposing various box-like shapes, to obtain a modern home with an impressive impact.
Bright furnishings and dark seating spaces create a pleasant and relaxing visual effect, while the green shade and refined wood material from the bedroom, make us think of the South African scenery. The kitchen and the main living area create a single open-space, where one can have a relaxing time with friends and family. The house also features a magnificent garden from which one can admire the beautiful surroundings and breathe the fresh air of the African setting.
