Located in Stanwood, Washington, this stunning residence was completed by Designs Northwest Architects and boasts a perfectly balanced combination of modern and traditional touches throughout. It is called the Thomas Eco-House and it is situated in a 11-acre lot, surrounded by wildlife.

The architects wanted to keep the project’s impact on the environment as low as possible, so they found clever ways of merging luxury and efficiency. The four-story tall residence affords sweeping views from every room, and everything inside is characterized by good taste. The furniture, the finishes, the color schemes, they all spell luxury and sophistication.

Native plants adorn the site and they are regularly irrigated during the arid summer days with rainwater that is collected from the roof in a cistern. Large windows allow plenty of natural light to enter the residence, thus reducing the need for artificial light. See bellow what a great job Designs Northwest did with this project.
