As one of the first residences in Montecito to receive the prestigious LEED Platinum certification, this spectacular two-story residence is definitely a great place to call home. The exterior design of this lavish home is based on naturally sourced material and earthly tones, while its façade was adorned extensively with brown wood panels for a touch of warmth and coziness.
Aside from its astonishing looks, the residence also impresses with a high degree of self-sustainability, since it was equipped with a series of photovoltaic solar panels on its butterfly roof, which provide enough power to bring the entire home to life. Other great additions include radiant floor heating and a 5,000-gallon cistern that is used to store rainwater. This water can be used to tend to the surrounding gardens, which are quite beautiful yet require low maintenance.
