Brazil has always been a centre for amazing design projects. JMF Residence in Rio de Janeiro is one such brilliant abode that we cannot stop adoring. Designed on the philosophy of merging outdoors with indoors, this house makes us drool for the view.
The massive terraces in both the floors of the penthouse overlook the magnanimous Botanic Garden and Rodrigo de Freitas Lake. The main design concept by Ivan Rezende Arquitetura was to make the lush green view as a décor. Wide-open windows and terraces make up for the ideal view to lounge. The interior is minimal and modern which allows nature to be a cynosure. As you enter the apartment, the enchanting view tranquillizes the mind.
Spectacular JMF Residence
On the first floor are family rooms, dining area, service area, master bedroom, and two children’s bedrooms. Consistent use of white and beige unifies the apartment. Mahogany boards make the space look calm and cohesive. All the furniture items are minimal and functional with neutral tones. Nowhere in the house, one can find extra ornamentation. A lot of chic light pendants accentuates the areas without drawing too much attention. Extending the terrace is the patio that has two gorgeous green lounge chairs. This is the only pop of colour that one can find in the entire house.
Staircases and balconies have tempered glass which crystallizes the space. These transparent members add fluidity to the apartment and make it look more permeable. The exposed concrete indoors and outdoors ensures the space looks raw and natural. The penthouse looks even more intriguing with the use of accent pieces in brief moments. The chunks of white and beige create a tranquil and peaceful ambience.
JMF Residence is a true specimen of pure living. The clean décor and crisp accessories subtly enhance the space and the Zen-like atmosphere make it utterly pious and prolific!
