Completed in 2011, the luxurious DLW House is located in Florianopolis, Brazil. It was designed by Westphal & Kosciuk Architects, on a steep lot with ample views. The owners of the residence wanted the private and social areas to be connected, and not isolated from one another.

The different levels of the house are connected by a staircase and an elevator, and they have different functionalities. Floating above the driveway is a white cantilevered structure with lovely sea and city views, and excellent cross ventilation and sunlight. This level hosts the kitchen, a workshop and service area.

The lower structure with the entrance hall houses the warehouse, a garage, and an indoor play quarter. The upper level, having great views, is ideal for the master bedroom, office, and guest bedroom. Take a minute to browse through the gallery below.
