Cubism was the inspiration for this house designed by Arquitectura en Movimiento. Contrast in colors and geometrical shapes create a contemporary feel for this residence in Juarez, Mexico.
Clean shapes on the exterior and a clean design on the interior. This resumes the concept of the house. However, each interior space is defined differently by the choice of colors. The living is clearly contoured because of the contrast between the white floor and the colored furniture.
Light is cleverly used to complement the white walls and floors, but it also creates the sensation of spaciousness. The stainless-steel-like kitchen combined with spotlights makes a stylish glossy corner right near the dinning table. All the wood elements have the same pattern and texture, starting from the wood staircase to the windows.
There is also a decorative pool with stones in the middle of the house. It has the role of a central courtyard with double height to connect the social areas downstairs with the private rooms upstairs. The bedrooms keep the same clean design, but with small items that create a certain familiarity feeling.
