Nico van der Meulen Architects started developing the House Ber in Midrand, South Africa and finished it in 2012. They’ve attentively selected the materials for the construction of the house and only those who’ve passed the resistance through time test, were used. The luckiest ones were: granite, steel, light and water, which mixed together, made a great job.
The living room was chosen to be the center of this home because of the rectangular form of the project. All the doors are made of frameless glass that gives the impression of an inexistent barrier between the interior and the exterior and if you’re not careful, you might exit through the door! You must take the last part as a joke, of course.
Due to M Square Lifestyle Design’s interior design vision, you can observe a lot of black steel inlays that are spread all over the house. The illuminated ceilings give it a touch of elegance and glamour. All rooms are complemented with European custom-made furniture and lightning to take the home out of the ordinary.
