The House in Sikamino, Attica, Greece was completed by Tense Architecture Network in 2012. This residence doesn’t have a separate roof because the house is its roof, in fact is a sixty meters long one.
The construction vigorously merges with its elongated site. The sense of transparency is eased by iron frames, sun-protecting blinds and metallic shutters.
This home is nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, Mies Van der Rohe Award 2013.
