MM House is a project developed by Studio MK 27 – Marcio Kogan + Maria Cristina Motta. It is located in Bragança Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil and it was completed in 2012.
The building consists in the organization set by the intersection of two perpendicular axes on a ground floor. The horizontal volumetry of the home is set on one axis and merges with the construction. Along the other axis there’s the pool and the wooden deck.
Also, at the intersection of the axes, is located a terrace that includes the social spaces, such as the kitchen and a living, and is the transition between the indoor and the outdoor spaces.
Because of the permanent cross ventilation and despite the high temperatures of the area, the atmosphere is very inviting.
The house is divided into the blocks of wood: the southern block that includes the garage and the TV room and the northern block that features the rooms, the kitchen and services.
