CH House in Tel Aviv, Israelboasts a clean and minimalist architecture by Domb Architects. The site once held a home in which the owners lived together with their children for many years. Now that they are grandparents, they want to be able to welcome the entire family in a modern and spacious home that is at the same time open and intimate. This residence perfectly meets their needs.
After searching for a new lot in the same neighborhood and failing to find one that they loved, the owners decided to simply renovate their old house and thus also reduce building costs. The new home is rather closed to the sides and to the front, but this is fully compensated by its entirely open rear side.
The garden is seamlessly connected to the home’s lower level, where the spacious living room is situated. Also here is the family room, kitchen with intimate dining corner, and the front dining area. There is a secondary outside kitchen by Boffi, just like the husband wanted. The upper floor holds a large parents’ suite overlooking the garden and flaunting its own balcony, walk-in closet and a lavish bathroom with shower and bathtub.
A Game room was created especially for the grandchildren at the basement level. Also here is a fitness room, guest suite, and office. The residence is very techy, with all its main features being controllable via iPhone: the air conditioning, audio-video, electricity and communication systems.
