The Sun House is a compact dwelling in Singapore, which was designed by Guz Architects. The architects tried to make the most of the site by pushing the “L” shape of the building to the rear and then they created an open courtyard that offers privacy and also preserves the feeling of openness.
The ponds and the pool were used by the architects as cooling elements, while the open staircase and the double height living space were blended with the courtyard area in order to maximize the available space.
Another important element that was took into account when designing the house was the beautiful collection of artwork and sculptures of the owner.
