WOHA Architects have designed the Nest House located in Jalan Sejarah, Singapore. The home features a genuine design, which makes it very striking, retaining in the same time the more traditional details that make it cozy and welcoming.
All the rooms are wrapped into a porous lattice of timber and aluminum strips weaved into a protective curved screen, which filters the daylight and allows the rooms to breathe and to own a fresh and relaxing atmosphere.
The living spaces are permeated by a delightful and comfortable microclimate and the innovative use of the simple materials defines the spaces as a creative and sustainable expression for the tropical house.
