Cassell Street House located in Melbourne, Australia, was completed in 2012 by b.e. Architecture. The neighborhood which includes this home consists of other houses similar to this project.
The building looks older than it really is due to the use of natural and aged materials such as travertine, timber, concrete and steel.
According to the demands of the owner, the stone façade is referential of Byzantine buildings.
The lower level consists of expansive glazing and living areas which open to the tranquil garden space surrounding the construction.
