The Cloud House was designed by Australian studio McBride Charles Ryan in Fitzroy North, Melbourne, Australia. This was a unique renovation and addition project of a double-fronted Edwardian residence. A series of unexpected changes in décor and architecture surprise the viewer as he or she passes from one area of the house to another.

The street façade retains an understated beauty, thus seamlessly integrating itself into the neighborhood’s landscape. As you enter the home, however, things get gradually more interesting, starting with the colorful floral carpet of the hallway.

Surprises then continue with a stunning red box, which represents the contemporary kitchen area. The cherry on the cake is the cloud-like extrusion at the back of the house, a space that features curvy lines, creating an excellent backdrop for relaxed activities with friends and family.
