The OOI House was designed by a firm named Czarl Architects, and it is located in Jasmine Road, Singapore. The residence features 3,810 square feet of living space, and it was designed to accommodate a large family that includes a couple, their children and the children’s grandparents. Consequently, the abode features private areas for each family member, but it also boasts spacious and welcoming socialization areas.

The team that was responsible for the design of this wonderful home consisted of Sheryl Asi Perculeza, Carl Lim and Anditya Dwi Saputra. The project was completed in 2010, and it can be found within a conservation area called Thompson Tree, which means that it is encircled by natural vegetation. Since the site offered relatively compact and restrained building opportunities, the architects had to be creative. They envisioned a living room at the core of the abode that flaunts a double volume directly above it.

In order to ensure that all living spaces would be linked efficiently and harmoniously, the designers implemented a continuous RC slab that features a serpentine design. The slab also helps blur the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors. Flaunting 3 floors in total, the OOI House includes a lavish master bedroom on its top floor as well as another bedroom on its second floor. The ground floor is reserved for entertainment and socialization.
