Carassale House is a beautiful contemporary home by BAK Arquitects. It is located in Pinamar, Argentina and it offers 1,754 square feet of living spaces. The 11,022 square foot lot is situated on the coast of Buenos Aires Province.

The building was erected without sacrificing any of the existing trees on the property. The owners (a young couple with three children) wanted every interior space to communicate well with the outdoors, encouraging dwellers and guests to step outside whenever the weather allowed it.

They also wanted their home to be very welcoming and to be able to accommodate guests over longer periods of time. This had to be done without exceeding 1,754 square feet of built area, and yet without creating the feeling of cluster.

The common spaces were very important to the owners, because they had to be able to offer excellent socialization opportunities. Consequently, the living area integrates the kitchen and features a fireplace that can also be used for indoor barbequing when the outdoor grill cannot be utilized.
