Located in a popular tourist region for winter sports called Madesimo, in Lombardy, Italy, Casa Up impresses with its unique architecture.
The one-bedroom home is in fact a reconstruction of the old building, keeping the original layout. The house is composed of two superimposed layers, each with its function. The ground floor, where once where the stables, now features a large living room divided into three areas, and the first floor, which was the barn, is in fact a large bedroom. The architects at Es Arch – Enrico Scaramellini Architetto managed to respect the original, traditional building into a contemporary piece of art.
