Located in Apple Bay, Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand, this amazing contemporary residence is a true dream house. It was completed in 2006 by Parsonson Architects, a Wellington-based practice. Set on a hillside and surrounded by a lush vegetation, this is a wonderful holiday home for an extended family.
The architects created this residence with two different structures whose roofs follow the slope of the site. While the lower level is where the bedrooms are set, the upper level of the house holds generous elongated spaces that open to lovely decks designed to take in both the morning and the afternoon sun.
The beauty of the surroundings is matched by the lovely welcoming interiors of the entire residence. We absolutely love this project!
