The lovely Voila House can be found in Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and it was built in 2013 by a company named Fabian Tan Architect. This lavish abode was originally a simple pitched roofed bungalow house, but it was expanded and renovated in order to satisfy all tastes regarding comfort and luxury.

The modifications were mainly centered on the ground floor of the house, and they comprised the implementation of vast open plan spaces. The upstairs living areas were slightly expanded in order to provide extra space but otherwise retained their original configuration. One of the most impressive aspects regarding the building site is represented by a beautiful garden of umbrella trees. Therefore, the designers felt the need to extend the common living areas found on the ground floor towards the garden, while the kitchen and the private rooms were placed on the other side of the house.

The double volume living room is probably the most impressive area of the Voila House and the best suited for casual relaxation and socialization. In a flash of creative genius, the designers thought to implement a series of large revolving doors that ensure much needed shade and privacy while closed as well as unhindered access towards the garden when open.

Right behind this formal living room there is a kitchen and a dining area as well as an informal living room. These areas were adorned in crisp, clean shades of white that help give off a sense of tranquility and peace.
