Hôtel La Réserve is a remarkable 5-star establishment that can be found in RamatuelleFrance, and it was developed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The hotel operates within an old building from the 1970s that was aptly transformed into a modern, luxurious and welcoming place by Wilmotte & Associés SA. However, the new building retains a link with its heritage because the designers in charge of the project decided to keep the original brick facades and the plaster.

The hotel can be found on a large estate that measures 96,875 square feet and includes 12 other villas that are available for rent. Hôtel La Réserve is surrounded by these villas and, due to its unique design, it manages to stand out effortlessly.

The establishment includes 16 suites and 7 bedrooms that flaunt their own gardens and terraces. Other highlights include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, a bar, a Turkish bathroom and a restaurant that serves delicious meals prepared with great skill and care by experienced chefs.

From the Jean-Michel Wilmotte:

After Geneva and Paris, La Réserve opened a spa hotel on the outskirts of Saint-Tropez. Sited at the centre of a hill clad with holm oak and stone pine trees, in fusion with an extraordinary natural environment, La Réserve Ramatuelle is a new stylish and discreet refuge offering a five-star service to its guests. Wilmotte & Associés SA metamorphosed a 1970s building into 21st century luxury hotel.

Of the derelict building, the shell and plaster and brick facades have been preserved. This exceptional establishment with its pure lines is set into an estate 9,000 m² (96,875 ft²), which already was home to 12 rental villas. In the midst of the villas, the roof of the main building, with its pagoda-like aspect, grabs attention. Respecting the footprint of the existing building, Wilmotte & Associés SA has achieved a seamless integration into the Mediterranean landscape. With seven bedrooms and 16 suites, 50 to 100 m² (538 to 1,076 ft²) each with a private terrace or garden, the hotel boasts natural materials in a magnificent palette of ochre, white and sand tones, as though echoing its surroundings. A 1000 m² (10,764 ft²) spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Turkish bath, bar and restaurant complete this hotel complex. In 2012, La Réserve was the 10th French luxury hotel to receive the “Palace” distinction.
