El Mangaleta is a wonderful housing complex that can be found in Cordoba, Argentina. It was designed by Marco Rampulla and was completed in 2013 on a scenic site that provides magnificent panoramas of the distant mountains and nearby forests. The complex includes three houses and a tranquil swimming pool. The houses flaunt a unique exterior design that allows them to blend seamlessly with their surroundings.

This effect was possible by implementing a unique design based on bricks as the primary building material. The three houses are for rent and stand ready to ensure exceptional living conditions to their fortunate residents.

From the architect:

On a slope towards the mountain horizon, three houses for rent and a swimming pool are located complying with the requirements of the client. The implementation responds to the use of the slope, and consequently the views. The materiality arises to establish the houses as emerging “rocks”, echoing the natural landscape of the mountains, woods and stone … From this analogy emerges the brick as envelope material in contact with the earth, polishing the interior to be inhabited.
