This eloquent penthouse, a London apartment, belongs to a family that loves art. Famous interior designer, Fernanda Marques took it as a design challenge to bring forward a stunning house, which is full of art pieces. The young art-collector couple wanted a space that reflected their passion through the design and accommodates all their art troupes in one space.
The Artistic features of London Apartment
This 3-floored apartment in London’s Belgravia area is a piece of art in itself. Every element is thoroughly researched and then introduced to space. During the renovation, existing walls were removed to increase the visual appeal of the house. In contrast to the vigorous walls, dainty glass partitions introduce a sense of transparency.
Upon entering the apartment, a bulky black staircase leads the way to the living room. While entering the house, glass partitions provide a sneak peek to the living room. The ambiance of the apartment is very calm but still ignites inquisitiveness in the mind. Every piece of furniture has a monotone look but with very interesting materialistic quality. From eclectic acrylic armchair to organic, haphazardly shaped coffee table and fur ottomans, every fitment has an interesting feature.
The Exotic Home
The walls of the house adorn exquisite paintings from the beloved collection of the art connoisseur couple. Home décor items and sculptures follow the same idiosyncrasies as the rest of the house. The architectural details of the house are predominantly painted in shades of white to allow the unique artworks to do the talking. Various pop of colours is present in the house like décor items, multi-coloured chairs, coffee books, paintings, and rugs.
Furthermore, similar design concepts are prevalent in the bedrooms but without the colours. Both bedrooms have a neutral colour palette with grey undertones. However, eccentric lampshades and bedside tables introduce a character to the room.
This stylish and artful London abode is a true bliss for the eyes. And, white adds longevity to space while intricate vibrant shades make the apartment look playful and posh.
