Spacious, comfortable and welcoming, the House in Otori is a perfectly designed home that was sketched out by Arbol Design and built by Yamamotoyasu Corporation. This 2014 residence features 925 square feet of living space, but it has 2 stories, and it features an airy design as well as very well lit interiors.
The main highlights involve a series of interior Zen-like interior gardens that offer exceptional contemplation and relaxation opportunities. Proper ventilation is ensured by a series of galvalume plates that complement the exterior wall perfectly as far as texture, shape and color are concerned. Even though the home was built on narrow plot within a densely-built neighborhood, the atmosphere within is one of spaciousness and comfort thanks to an efficient separation of the social and private spaces, both of which feature great transparency and a connection to nature.
This connection is further enhanced by the extensive use of wood in the construction process, a material that can be found on the inside as well as on the outside.
