In Minsk, Belarus, designer Uglyanitsa Alexander created an interior inspired from the aspect of an attic. With oblique walls made of wood boards, this duplex had a makeover for a stylish and more elegant look.

Starting with the direction of the walls, this home is full of weird shapes. The uniqueness of this house is given by the elements of the interior design: an open round fireplace in the middle of the living room with flues coming from the floor and going to the ceiling, plumbing pipes used for decorating the walls and as a balustrade, an internal balcony with view over the living, a simple wood library with oblique shelves that completes the oblique walls and so on.

The living room, dining and kitchen are included in a common space opening towards the garden and with doors that hide the bedrooms. Upstairs there is the study and a working space and though it is a more private space, compared to the rest of the house, it has a balcony located over the kitchen and opening to the common space.

It seems like a comfortable house to spend time with friends since it has very nicely decorated social areas and lots of hanging out spaces, like the couch near the wall.
