The renovation project for the AB House was sketched out by Galeria Gabinete, and it was completed in Penafiel, Portugal. The residence impresses with a minimalistic look both on the outside and on the inside, and it comes with a remarkable combination of white and wooden features. The exterior facade is completely white and includes a series of small windows of various sizes.
Inside, high quality wood elements on the floors and walls add a touch of warmth and coziness, while contemporary furnishings give off a sense of elegance and comfort. The kitchen boasts state-of-the-art appliances as well as a white counter and a wooden table. The bathroom flaunts a bathtub encased in marble as well as a gray honeycomb pattern that decorates the floor and two of the walls. An outdoor wooden patio offers exquisite views of the surrounding environment, views that can be enjoyed while relaxing or socializing with friends and family members.

In a housing recovery, we evaluate the spaces, shapes, functional relations and all the pathologies that the resident himself has identified during his experience. It’s all there!
You have to fix what is unused and thus transforming closed space into open space through new materials, call the comfort and make it unique when personalized. Tiled roofs are smashed down, opened up new spans, concrete walls are projected and curved lines are mixed with the existent broken geometry.
The simplicity of the form is a reality and harmoniously emerges between the hill and lots of houses.
